What Spa Packages do you offer?We offer bespoke packages customized to each guest's needs. Please reach out to our Spa Concierge team to assist you with booking a spa or salon day that fits your needs.

When should I arrive on the property before a treatment?We recommend all guests arrive at least one hour prior to their first appointment start time to enjoy a leisurely check-in and to allow all guests to use our facilities before their appointments. If guests do not have the availability to arrive a full hour prior – we do recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance to allow enough time for the check in process.

Who has access to the spa facilities?Hotel guests, fitness members, and spa guests (any guest with a massage, body treatment, or facial) can access any of our spa facilities. Spa guests are permitted to use the facilities at any point on the day of their appointment.

What are the spa facilities?We offer our guests a heated indoor atrium saltwater swimming pool, men's and women's locker rooms outfitted with a steam room and a dry sauna, and a fitness center which includes equipment from Technogym and three Peloton Bicycles.

How do I buy gift cards?We offer digital gift certificates through our online system here. If you prefer to have a physical gift card, we do offer them at our physical location. We do not process gift cards over the phone.

Where are you located?We are located inside The Rittenhouse Hotel at 210 West Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA, on the third floor. Please enter through the hotel lobby and take the elevators to the third floor – the spa and salon will be on the right-hand side.

Do you offer memberships?We offer fitness memberships to the general public; please see our membership page under Fitness Center & Pool for more information, or contact the spa front desk for more details.

What is your cancellation policy?Appointments are held especially for you and your guests. We do understand that appointments may need to be canceled or moved, so we ask that you give the spa 24 hours' notice prior to the beginning of your first appointment if any appointments need to be canceled or moved. Any appointments canceled or changed within those 24 hours will be subject to a 100% charge of the service fees.

Do you offer parking?
While we are easily accessible via walking, taxi and Uber - we do also offer valet parking at the hotel for $32 during the day. If you do intend on parking with us, kindly bring your car to the front of the hotel - and a valet will assist you. The Spa will validate your parking for the $26-day rate.

Can I order Food and Beverage in the Spa/Salon?The Rittenhouse Spa and Club partners with the hotel In-Room Dining team to provide a selection of light food or beverage either before or after your services. All Food and beverages can be consumed either poolside or in the salon. If your party requires a larger selection of options, please reach out to Abbe Stern – astern@rittenhousehotel.com – for more information.

What is your policy on children under the age of 18?The spa and salon is a carefully curated experience that prides itself on the safety and relaxation of our guests. As such, we ask that any guest in the spa or fitness center under the age of 18 has adult supervision. Guests that are 18 years of age or younger are not permitted to have massages without adult supervision – and we do not perform massages on anyone under the age of 16. Guests that are 18 years of age or younger are welcome to enjoy facial, hair, and nail services. All ages are welcome at our Pool Facility, with all guests under the age of 16 requiring adult supervision.

Is gratuity included?An automatic 20% Service Charge is added to all Spa Appointments. This covers your therapist's gratuity. All Hair and Nail appointments do not include gratuity and is at the client's discretion.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?We accept walk-in and same-day appointments as availability permits. We do always recommend making appointments for Monday-Thursday at least a week in advance, and for Friday-Sunday, 2-3 weeks in advance.

What do guests need to bring for their treatments?Guests will need to bring appropriate swimwear for the indoor pool and appropriate fitness attire to use the fitness facility. The spa will provide any other attire or amenities needed for a full spa experience.

Does the spa accept group bookings?The spa does accept group bookings. Each group booking is customized and organized by a member of the spa team. Please reach out to the spa front desk at spa@rittenhousehotel.com for more information and assistance in group bookings.

What treatments do you recommend for expecting mothers?We offer a Prenatal Massage for mothers in their second and third trimester. Facials such as our Rittenhouse Signature Facial and the 1,000 Roses Facial are safe for expectant mothers at any point in their pregnancy. We do not recommend expecting mothers to use any of the heat facilities or receive any treatments that involve intense amounts of heat or pressure, such as a hot stone massage.

I'm looking for a hairstylist – who do you recommend?All of our hairstylists are well-vetted, and trained to be some of the best in Philadelphia. While each stylist can assist guests with all basic hair care needs, each has a custom set of specialties.
